JIT = Just in time. This indicates that the kit is not stocked - it is made up as the kit is sold by picking multiple items

Stock = A Bill of Materials Item that can be stocked. Used when kits are made up in advance of being sold and placed into stock. Also used in Manufacturing processes

Recipe = A variable bill of materials that allows scaling of ingredients to use optimum ingredients pack sizes, or complete optimum finished pack sizes.
