What is a Telesales Call List

Telesales Daily Run Sheet is a list of calls to make for each day.

How does a customer get on the list?

 A customer ends up on the list based on the call cycle on the debtor card for Telesales.

Each time a planned call is deferred to another date that days call is marked as "cancelled" and a new call is created for the new date.

Step-by-step guide

Start the day

  1. Open the Telesales Dashboard and create all Telesales Calls for the day
  2. The result should look like this

Using the screen

    1. You can sort columns / filter / see only those you have not yet completed

Leads

  1. Review any new leads in the dashboard to action first
    1. Call leads
    2. Send emails for them to follow up
    3. Assign a sales rep to call today and arrange a visit

Call Outcomes and Call Notes

  1. Select a customer to call - review their information before calling.
  2. Call the customer
    1. if no answer
      1. Update the call outcome to "Call Back" to defer the call to later in the day or another day if required
    2. if the customer answers
      1. Take payments
      2. Enter a new order 
        1. Select the Place an order button

        1. Note that the screen that opens may depend on the customer chosen
          1. Here is the Recommended Order Screen (use for smaller companies that are not sure what to order)

          2. Here is the Historical Order Screen (this will open if the Debtor has the flag "Use History Sales Order" set).  Use for large organisations that know what they want to order.

          3. If the customer has Departments - and you choose one - it will populate the sales contact for that department for you.

            2. This will also limit the recommended ordered items to those ordered by the department in the past - instead of putting all articles purchased by this company on the sales order
          4. Once the order is created - you can add individual items

          5. or use the promotion wizard to mass add items
          6. If they want an unusual way to deliver the goods - you can change from the default delivery method and date

          7. When you have finished - push the order to Submitted status - then close the order

      1. Back on the Telesales Screen - update notes on the customer for next time
      2. Update the call outcome - and save.
        1. Note that all historical call outcomes are on the debtor
      3. All orders placed on customers in your list will show on the Order list
  1. Continue until all calls are made - or you cannot get the list finished.
