Bus Tours are services used in the Tourism industry that:
...
- Addresses can have html descriptions linked to contribute to the tour overall html
...
A Tour is commonly sold with a number of inclusions to a destination.
- An example destination may be "Gold Coast"
- Example inclusions are "Water Park Ticket", "Lunch", "Water view Room" etc.
Normally a single destination will have multiple tours defined with different inclusions.
A vehicle and driver travelling to a destination may carry a number of different tours.
- For example a bus to the Gold Coast may on the same vehicle carry passengers who are on different tours (example one includes entry to the water park)
Tours are commonly sold via Agents
- Prices may vary depending on the commissions or some special offers
Tours may be AM, PM, all day or multiple days
- Multiple day tours may require Accommodation Bookings and confirmation numbers entered at time of booking
Passengers may depart a Tour vehicle midway through the itinerary and re-join on a later vehicle
- For example if on a Gold Coast multi-day tour the passengers are staying on for 3 days in the middle and then re-joining the tour.
Tour bookings may be picked up and dropped of from:
- Known addresses - example hotels timing based on a route timing plan
- Entered addresses - timing to be estimated based on suburb
When a single booking has multiple passengers and will not fit on a single vehicle they may be split across vehicles.
