Merging duplicates requires the secure feature Secure Features#CanMergeBusinessEntities

Host Company > Host Company Profile Settings > flag "Enforce Duplicate Check on New Entries" - will enforce a duplicate check prior to saving new entries

Find Possible Duplicates

Rating = confidence of duplicate (1 is very high expectation as many matching items)

Double click to Select one - view details

View possible duplicates > Merge Tab - Right click on any possible duplicate

View differences between your selected one and a possible duplicate

Shows differences across the different fields once two records are being compared in columns

• Field - field being compared

• Old Value - from the "Merge from" record

• Current Value (value that will be retained after the merge) - from the "Merge to" record Select the differences to be changed by

  • clicking on RHS under ! to populate from old to current

  • Type directly into the Current field if you would like to change the surviving value
