General notes on using the system
Furniture Retail
Salesperson business Flow
works with the customer to refine the product/s they want
Can create product bundles (eg front room sofa set) with RRP for the bundle
sources unusual materials (supplier and RRP details)
checks prices if required
Can adjust price considering
Dimension changes
Unusual additions - eg piping, curved arms, dimension, changes, unusual fills
Once the customer has paid the deposit (via credit card or direct deposit) the order is Authorised

Key items for the salespersons attention
Visits to the online Quote - counted in boxes of 1d 3d 5d 10d (details page on sales order)
Followups on each order
The customer asked for a call back on a particular date
An internal reminder to chase a supplier quote or product details
A comment or question from the customer
Expected close dates combined with % chance gives a monthly sales expectation
Orders that need attention
Next step required for each order
New Customers (or new orders for existing customers)
Configuration wizard choice of products
Every enquiry starts with a product of interest - if the customer has not made all decisions it does not matter - create a quote with them as a starting point - they can look over your shoulder as you go.
The wizard loops through product selections until you are ready to configure the items.
You can always go back to add more items or bundles
Click on a category
Then on a Product Range within the category
Then select multiple from within the range
Also add a bundle name - or add to an existing bundle
Add items and bundles as required
Tick “I want to add another Item” so NEXT button will travel again through the selection wizard to add more items.
Note - Later in the configuration screen can always us the back browser button to go back here and add more items
Configuration of individual items
Note - back button will allow adding more items to the quote
Choose from alternatives - eg legs
Material is mandatory to avoid the customer being quoted a white price
Copy choices to other items
If an choice is not in the system
Notes at the category level
Can manually enter or use snippets
Select options - eg split base
Dimension changes and other major changes may require RRP calculation off system
Review the changes and enter the new RRP

Review of Bundle Pricing
Here can view all items not yet completed and also update the bundle prices
Go back to edit individual items - enter bundle RRP here.
Capture Customer Details
enter a phone number or email or name to find an existing customer
Add images or drawings to the quote
Review the document as will be viewed in Customer Portal
