Run out Stock

Run out stock refers to an Article that is no longer planned to be stocked.

If there is stock in the system:

• The status remains "Runout" until all stock is sold

  • Article is available for sale

  • Article is not available for purchase

  • Samples are available for sale

• Once all stock is sold then the Article status changes to "Inactive"

  • Can no longer be sold

  • Can no longer be purchased

  • Still appears in Seasonality reports

    • Ensures historical seasons sales of Brands and Article Categories is accurate

  • Still appears in history of customer sales

    • Impacts on customer forecast expectations and sell rates.
