Produce an Order
This screen is used to manage the production process and is kept open in the production room as work happens.
Find the job
- Select the job from the top of the screen that you wish to progress
- Optional: Filter to the room using filter on RHS
- Clear button on bottom of screen will clear you from the chosen job and allow you to choose another job
Start Production
- Status button to move the job status. The next step to perform will depend on the status
- Authorise - job is ready to produce and requires picking
- Picking - job is not yet picked
- Picked - job is picked and ready for production
- Start Production -Â ingredients have been checked and job is started
- Requires ingredients Batch and expiry to be checked as OK in the ingredient gridÂ
- Status button to move the job status. The next step to perform will depend on the status
 Most of the production now happens and answers are given to the Quality Questions
- Quality Questions (populated from the Article Manufacturing tab and defined using QA Tests)
- Double click to answer
- Save Answer
- Repeating questions can "Save as new Result" - for example when bags are check weighed every hour.
Complete Production
Status to
Finished Production Update waste / returns, job is done and now enter values for
- Duration
- Finished goods that are less than a package "Bin End" materials (in grams)
- Ingredients returned to stock or wasted (in grams) - the system will calculate equivalent bags to go into stock
- Ready to Close
Status to: Ready for management review before finally creating the stock.Â
- Management can either move status back to data entry or Close and write all journals and create stock
- Will calculate average cost based on
- Ingredients used less waste and ingredients returned to stock
- Time in the location (based on overhead rate for the location)
- Will create finished product with batch number and expiry and move returns back to the default warehouse
