Working with Jira

We use JIRA to manage our work at the moment.

JIRA allows us to break each piece of work into smaller pieces to be completed and tested

Items that are status "Backlog" are waiting to be worked on

Prioritisation Focus

This is normally used when a customer has changes or improvements they want to make and they want them gradually added

A JIRA Board is used for the Customer to Prioritise the work

Work items that are in the backlog are not yet being worked on.  The customer can prioritise those being worked on and those in the backlog


Flow Focus

When a larger project is being undertaken and many areas are required to be worked on at once - a flow view may be used

Screen Mockups

 Check your issue does not already exist

Create a new issue

Enter data in the issue

Find in recent issues

Add a screen mockup (contact us if this is not available to you)

Add a data grid / table

Assemble a form

If you add fields or dropdowns or buttons etc to the screen. You will need to define them in the issue.
