Relation Types are intended to provide a fast way to default menus for people who are given access to the system. It also used to relate multiple people to organisations.

For example you may want to record a brother or sister of a person or other types of relationships (use special type of None)

How to use Relation Type

  1. Enter the name you would like to use for the Relation Type
  2. Choose the Special Type that it applies to
  3. Enter the default roles to be provided to the related entities

User relations type and respective security roles

 Define user relations type and setup roles against it of following special type:

  • Employee
  • Debtor
  • Creditor
  • Contact
  • Member
  • CanEmail
  • Ownership
  • Director
  • PBManager
  • BBManager
  • Merchandiser
  • None (for any other type)

Available actions:

  • '''Add or update or delete ''' user relations
  • Map respective security roles against user relations.

Key Features of the screen are:

  • '''Name ''' display selected user relation.
    • One can type the name of the user relation & press tab to fetch mapped security roles information
    • Same can also be selected from User relations master by clicking on button just before the name control.
  • '''Special type ''' lets you define available special types as defined above.
  • '''Role ''' let you select roles from role master against selected user relation. 
    • Selected roles will be displayed in control next to role button and same can be used to search for existing roles directly.'''
  • Role Save'''; It will map selected role with the user profile.
