Importing and picking Shopify Orders
Overview
This will describe the test process for importing Shopify Orders for Skywalker and will be updated later to describe the Live process.
Import Orders
Select the option on the Edit menu - Shopify orders SFTP: Get new orders
All the Shopify orders from the SFTP site which are on the ShopifySkywalkerOrders directory will be imported (but not deleted because we are in Test mode.
They can be listed with the Sales Order List menu option.
Authorise
Each order can be viewed and status changed to Done (Plan) and then Authorise (Authorised)
Print Picking Slip
Pick this order will print a picking slip and this can be used to pick the items
Record Picks
Once the item has been picked the picks can be recorded in the system and a packing slip will be produced (format to be confirmed)
Packing Slip
Despatch
The order can be dispatched to the customer now
