Stocked Articles may have alternative suppliers (when using batch control for traceability).
Flexible Stock Takes are used to check stock in the system as can the Low Stock Dashboard.
Stock is kept up to date using Record Stock Adjustment.
Orders can be picked in batches grouped by carrier using Pick a Batch or as individual orders and then packed using Pack Sales Order into standard cartons, bags or pallets based on the Cartonising process.
When shipping stock you can allocate short stock
- Stocked articles have weights, sizes, packing factors (for Cartonising process) shipping and selling UOM.
- Can be flagged as requiring special locations (such as freezers) for storage - see Stock Locations and Warehouse Module
- Scarce stock can be allocated to Level 1 customers in priority to Level 2 customers with sharing or manual allocations.
