Normally a single destination will have multiple tours defined with different inclusions

A vehicle and driver travelling to a destination may carry a number of different tours.

  • For example a bus to the Gold Coast may on the same vehicle carry passengers who are on different tours (example one includes entry to the water park)

A single day travelling to a destination may require multiple vehicles

Tours are commonly sold via Agents

  • Agents are intermediaries that may earn a commission or may pay directly for the tour
  • Prices may vary depending on the commissions or some special offers

Tours may be AM, PM, all day or multiple days

  • Multiple day tours may require Accommodation Bookings and confirmation numbers entered at time of booking

Passengers may depart a Tour vehicle midway through the itinerary and re-join on a later vehicle

  • For example if on a Gold Coast multi-day tour the passengers are staying on for 3 days in the middle and then re-joining the tour.

Tour bookings may be picked up and dropped of from

  • Known addresses - example hotels timing based on a route timing plan
  • Entered addresses - timing to be estimated based on suburb

When a single booking has multiple passengers and will not fit on a single vehicle they may be split across vehicles

A Tour may be a special type like a Charter - that requires it's own vehicle
