Business is often conducted with products grouped into Brands.  

Companies plan purchasing, sales and review financials based on brands.  

Brands are therefore a key way of filtering information in the business as a Brand is often thought of as a small individual business within a business.

Within the system:

  • Brands exist as a method of filtering Articles across the system and in reports or Webstore
  • Each supplier can supply one or many brands
  • Each Brand may have multiple suppliers
  • Each Brand will have items in multiple Article Categories
  • A Brand may be a house brand - where the brand is added by your business rather than your supplier
