Bookings Module - Vehicle Hire Services

The bookings module is used for Coach and Travel Bookings, online bookings and tour reservations to provide an integrated single solution.

1. Shuttle Bus is used for buses on regular runs that take bookings with varied pickups - an example is airport bus services from the suburbs.
2. Contract Bus Services is used for regular contracted runs with the same pickup/drop off addresses on a regular cycle - an example is a school bus run or a bus hired to take staff to public transport during construction
3. Bus Hire or Bus and Driver Hire is used for ad-hoc bus hire - an example is for a wedding or corporate event
4. Bus Tours is used for packaged tours that are scheduled - an example may be day trips to wine regions

The system can integrate with in vehicle systems such as the TomTom Webfleet system:

• Sending route and new booking information to the TomTom in the vehicle
• Collecting information from TomTom every few minutes such as 
  • Driver login / logoff times
  • Driving events (speeding, severe cornering etc)
  • Stop times and addresses
