Managing Clothing Articles

To turn on Clothing Articles see Maintain Stock Control Settings.  The Article screen will then have some additional fields

• Sizes
  • Can configure directly
  • Can be created during import
  • Can refer to a standard size set (normally any business has a limited number of size sets that can be re-used)
• Parent Article
  
  • Used to simplify maintaining attributes - as attributes across many Articles can be done from one Article (the Parent)
  • Any of the Articles can be allocated as a Parent Article
  • Any articles that are not Parent Articles - can then link to the Parent 
    • Child articles will have attributes that are maintained at the Parent level greyed out - navigate to the Parent to maintain these.
• Importing Articles Process
  
  • Mass import process reviews imported Articles looking for Styles.
    • Where a style parent exists - the newly imported Article will refer to the existing Parent Article for that style
    • Where no style parent exists - the newly imported Article will be created as a Parent Article for that style
