Seasons

Seasons are defined on the Supplier - you can define multiple seasons with cutoffs by supplier

Seasons have an indent discount cut off date.

Articles can be linked to a Season for use in:

• Seasonal Forecasting where historical season sales is used to predict coming season sales of existing or new products
  • Note where large numbers of new articles are introduced for a season the Importing Articles Process may be used.
• Clothing Seasonal Purchase Process where products are purchased a long time in advance - with many products not going ahead due to insufficient demand
• Seasonal Orders where orders are placed 6 to 12 months in advance to confirm demand and plan deliveries
• Returns or replacement of unsold stock may be common at the end of a season
• End of Season Stock is normally then available to limited outlets or has special pricing via Promotions Module
