Produce Labels

To create labels is a very simple process.  The information required is available on this screen.

Labeling jobs are automatically created when creating production orders that:

• Have a manufactured item (bag) that is JIT picked

A labelling job is to be completed prior to starting the main job.

How to use the "Produce Labels" Screen

1. Find the job in the list
   1. Only jobs that are ready to manufacture will appear in the list
   2. You can filter by the location you are working in to reduce the list
2. The job details will populate to be checked on the label
   1. Batch number
   2. Certification details
   3. Food Nutritional details
3. QA tests to be carried out will populate
   1. Note: these are defined at the Article level Manufacturing Tab (the bag being labelled)
   2. DoubleClick on a QA test to get the details, save the results once entered
4. Enter the worker initials
5. When completed - enter the actual time (or finish time) 
6. Change status to "Closed"
   1. The stock will be removed by the parent job rather than the labelling job once it has been completed
   2. Time and material costs are not tracked for the labelling job 
7.  Clear button will clear the job from the screen and refresh the list of jobs at the top of the screen
