Sample

Sample Stock is stock that is:

• Not normally Available for sale
  • Can only be sold to customers by those with the relevant Secure Features as is normally done at end of useful life.
• Is visible in stock and can be placed in a stock location
• Can be moved from a Location to a Rep and back to a Location 

Samples process:

1. Purchased using a Sample Purchase Order on which 'Proposed' items can be purchased without the stock becoming "Active"
   1. 
2. Received as normal using Simple Stock Receipt
3. Stock is placed in the "Sample Stock" Warehouses and Stock Locations by default and is not available for sale. 
   1. This location is not visible to sales orders.
4. Able to be assigned to be at a "Rep" location linked to the individual rep and returned to sample stock location.

Sample stock is different to Fixed Asset Register and deprecition items such as Fridges and display stands that are placed into customer sites.
