Overview

The balance sheet report provides the Balance sheet as at the date chosen

How to use this report

  1. Select an 'As At' date
  2. Run the report

Results

  • Asset accounts
  • Liabilities Accounts
  • Net Assets = Assets - Liabilities
  • Capital (including retained earnings)
    • Note that if your system has a Retained Earnings account then this will be displayed as well as the calculated Retained Earnings.
    • The calculated Retained Earnings are the sum of the previous financial year's Retained Earnings and Current Earnings.
    • Current Earnings are the sum of all Expense and Revenue accounts.
    • The Retained Earnings account and the calculated Retained Earnings can be combined into a single figure on the Balance Sheet by adding a Symbols Config with a Key of 'GLAcctRetainedEarnings' and a Value of the Account Code of the Retained Earnings account.
